In the past couple of weeks, we've been working on getting the world about our Interactive iPad Book out. 

It is simply amazing how much of a positive response we've been getting!  Everyone who has tried it - loved it.   We all worked very hard to make this book interesting and appleaing to children and parents.  Seeing such a positive response makes it all worth while and makes work even harder to produce more interactive books!

Our Ray of Fury iphone app is finally out in the app store.

It's a fun app, that allows you to record your own personal Ray of Fury  on video with the voice of Elfizz and then share hte video via Facebook, Youtube and e-mail attachment.

So you produce applications that are targeted at children, what lead you to working in this niche?
About 10 years ago Inessa created several Elfishki characters just for fun, they spread around the Internet, but there was no story behind them. When I came up with the idea to make iPhone applications, my wife Elvira remembered those illustrations. We offered Inessa a partnership and she gladly accepted. Elvira is an author who can write great stories. So we put our skills and experience together—programming, writing and art—and the decision to focus on apps for kids came very naturally. Also, having kids with the same age group we are targeting doesn’t hurt either.

Once your application is complete, how important do you think it is to market that application and how have you created buzz about applications that Elka Palka Production was about to release?
I think marketing and application discovery is probably the biggest challenge that any start-up has. To get your application discovered by the users you either have to spend money or time, there is no way around it. At this point we are spending more time than money on marketing, simply because we would like to learn about mobile application marketing before investing any significant amounts of money.

We have been hard at work on the new exciting project and it's now time to unveil it!

First of all, we have created a brand - Elfishki.   The brand will encompass all of our past and future projects. Elfishki - is both the name of the magical world and creatures that live withinin it.

Second of all here's what coming up next for us:

1.  "Ray of Fury" iPhone/IPod application will be hitting the app store within 2 weeks.

2.  "Ses Music" iPhone/iPod application to follow within a month a so.

3.  "Elfishki Battle" iPhone/iPod application will be next (currently in development),

4.  Six (that's right 6!) animated interactive iPAD books/applicatin will follow.  Each book will contain a story from the world of Elfishki, introducing the world and characters that live in it.

Yesterday we achieved a very important milestone!  

Since our first iPhone application went live in April 2011 until now, we now have 10,000+ downloads in 74 countries!

Thank you to all of our friends, fan and supporters!  Our next crazy goal is 100,000+ downloads by the end of the 2011! :)

In celebration of this holiday, here are some facts about 4th of July you might not know about:
