It took all of two minutes for both Little Man and Little Miss to figure out how to play “Decorate the Cake” which is a game included in this App, as well! All in all, I recommend this App because it is a fun and engaging App that will not only keep your kids busy, it will assist in teaching reading skills.
This is a super cute and fun interactive book I have a 7 year old daughter and a 11 year old son with Cepral Palsey that loved this book. My daughter has to read every night for school and she gets upset that she cannot read this book every night. She likes it because it has a good fun story, the Graffics are awesome and the interactive part is "off the hook", yes my 7 year old daughter said off the hook. Where she learned that I have not a clue, it made me laugh for sure, so from a 7 year old mouth the book is OFF THE HOOK!

Landon loves this book so much that he knows what the app picture looks like and can find it anywhere on the iPad! He woke up early one morning, came out, grabbed the iPad and loaded up the book.

My daughter can read but she also enjoyed when the book was narrated by a beautiful voice. I think she has read or listened to this app everyday. But the best part was the CAKE GAME (according to lil Mama)! My daughter spent some time making beautiful cakes and silly cakes. She made a cake for me and sent it by email when I was at work, that made my day! She plans to make a cake for everyone this year on their birthday.

During a recent mommy and me meet up at my home, one of my mommy friends and her 5-year old daughter couldn’t stop playing with the (Elfishki and the Giant Cake) app, as the girl was sharing her own take on the story. The mother couldn’t believe the imagination her daughter had. And, the daughter began going around sharing her story and what she learned from this app with other kids at the meet up. This was definitely an ice breaker for new moms and kids as a group.

This interactive app book is absolutely adorable. The color, animations and detail is stunning. Very cute My daughter is 7 and really enjoyed reading this as well as playing with the interactive part of the game/book The characters are just too cute and the colors and detail is superb. This is a great book app for children, very interactive and colorful, fun and entertaining. My daughter really enjoys it.

The app is loaded with colorful graphics and animated pages. Initially, my son was going to read the book, but after seeing the words told me it was too long, after a long day of school and homework, so he chose to have the narrator read to him. He loved that the pictures moved. As hyper as he can be he sat through the whole story.

Anyone that knows me, knows that my household is usually chaotic. My 3 year old is hyperactive to put it nicely. Elfishki and the Giant Cake was a nice way to get him to sit still and truly involved in a book. He had a blast interacting with the story and was more than will to make a cake, or ten, when we were done with the story.
